1.) I believe some children grow up fast and some don't. It all depends on what your childhood is all like. If you have fun, amusing, and caring parents, then you will have fun as a kid and you will grow up fast. If you have parents who are mean, addicted to drugs, and abusive then you will just not grow up fast. It is all in peoples minds when they think they are growing up fast.

2.) Gerald's life is way different then a High School student because Gerald takes on lots of responsibilities. Gerald still get harassed at home, and he should not be. Gerald has to take care of Angel his step-sister, all of the time because no one really cares about her accept for Gerald. By Gerald being harassed at home and all kinds of other stuff he is changing to be a mean person. When he grows up he might be a person who abuses kids and is mean. It is just how he was raised around people. I hope it would not be true but it is possible.

3.) Last year at Frankford Township Middle School, I stuck up for a kid who always got picked on. Everyday in the hallway he would get picked on by this John kid. The one day i walked into school and John was picking onto the kid. I told John to leave the kid alone because he has never done anything to him before. Then he kept on talking back to me, and i told him that he better stop picking on him or things are going to get bad between us. The rest of the year he never picked on the kid ever again.
